How a telecom company elevated integrated risk management and security

Managing risk and compliance in telecommunications is no easy feat. When a telecom company operates in underserved remote and rural communities—including hurricane-prone island markets and mountainous regions in the southwestern US—it can be even trickier. That’s where communications services company ATN International, based in Massachusetts, found itself. The company wanted a platform to elevate its integrated risk management (IRM) program.

IT Trends Report Shows Experience Equals Confidence When Managing Complex IT Environments

Each year, SolarWinds publishes the IT Trends report, a collection of responses to survey questions meant to gain insight into the world of IT. I enjoy the IT Trends report for a variety of reasons, but my favorite reason is because I get to examine the raw data and draw conclusions! While reviewing the data and findings this year, I noted the demographic data collected included the number of years of IT experience for the survey respondents.

GripMatix and SquaredUp join forces

We know there are a couple of dashboard solutions for which integration with SCOM can or could be created. However none of them integrates better and more easily than SquaredUp Dashboard Server for SCOM. It integrates with the SCOM platform out-of-the-box, leverages the SCOM object model to the fullest and is very easy to create dashboards with. For most use cases you do not even have to create dashboards, as the product comes with many out-of-the-box community dashboard packs.
