OpsRamp Forges New Partnership with Google Cloud

Google Cloud is growing marketplace traction with enterprise customers as an innovative, service-rich option for multi-cloud environments. The public cloud platform, known to be a developer’s favorite, has solutions by industry and comprehensive offerings in artificial intelligence, analytics, DevOps and high-performance computing among others. Today, OpsRamp announced a partnership with Google to bring hybrid discovery, monitoring, and automation to Google Cloud customers and partners.

New monitoring agent in Go: Glouton

Bleemeo announces the General Availability of the new monitoring agent written in Go. This agent is the successor of the previous agent written in Python. All good aspects have been kept: Open Source, easy to deploy, and to use, available as a package for main Linux distributions: Debian/Ubuntu, CentOS/RedHat, available for Windows and available as a container.

ServiceNow partners with Cisco to enhance contact tracing capabilities

ServiceNow announced a new integration with Cisco DNA Spaces, a location-based application and analytics tool, to enhance COVID-19 contact tracing. The integration will use the Wi-Fi-enabled proximity reporting application to help organizations manage the return of employees to the workplace, as well as closely monitor workspaces, to maintain proper physical distancing. We’ve also added new capabilities to the ServiceNow Safe Workplace suite to make business travel safer and more manageable.

Introducing the redesigned Check Statistics widget

Those of you, who’ve already tried out the Web Interface for Icinga DB might have noticed the redesigned layout of the check execution statistics section in a monitoring object’s detail view. For all the others: Learn about it in this post. On first hand we wanted to make the informations more compact and put them in relation with each other, where possible. We aimed to keep all the information of the old one, though.
