Not a long time ago, we released Icinga for Windows v1.3.1, fixing plenty of reported issues from our amazing community and user bases. Today however, we want to talk about the next big release for Icinga for Windows and are excited to tell you more about all the new features!
We’re very happy to present you with version 3.0 of AppSignal for Ruby - a new major release for the Ruby gem. 🎉 We have changed the way we instrument apps and gems to provide better compatibility with other instrumentation gems. Support for Ruby version 1.9 has been removed and deprecated classes, modules, methods, and instrumentations have also been removed. Read our upgrade guide! In the rest of the post, we’ll explain what the new version of our gem brings to you and your apps.
First of all what is appfleet? appfleet is an edge compute platform that allows people to deploy their web applications globally. Instead of running your code in a single centralized location you can now run it everywhere, at the same time. In simpler terms appfleet is a next-gen CDN, instead of being limited to only serving static content closer to your users you can now do the same thing for your whole codebase. Run the whole thing where just your cache used to be.
After successfully implementing a conditional evaluation engine into Runbooks, we started looking at other places in FireHydrant that would be improved with this engine. After hearing a lot of feedback from you, we’ve implemented conditions into our Analytics page. Let’s dive in and see what new things are possible with this new filtering.

Datadog’s features give you full visibility into every part of your application environment, so it’s likely you have many resources to switch between as part of your troubleshooting and development workflows. For example, you might switch from the host map to investigate a performance issue with your services in APM, or jump between dashboards to correlate metrics and troubleshoot a problem with your CI/CD pipeline.
We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of a new update (8.7.3) for the Alloy Software ITSM/ITAM platform, including Navigator, Navigator Express, and Discovery. This maintenance update resolves issues reported in previous versions, offers Apple M1 Chip support, and expands API integration capabilities. The Sensu Puppet module has seen another major release up to 5.x to coincide with the release of Sensu Go 6. The 5.0.0 bump for the Sensu Puppet module was a chance for us to introduce new features to better support Sensu Go 6, as well as remove code that had been deprecated and no longer needed.
AWS Lambda has become a core technology in the shift to cloud-native application development, eliminating infrastructure management and fixed costs. But there are trade-offs with serverless environments. Not having access to the production infrastructure can make debugging difficult and there are a lot of moving parts, adding distributed complexity. Monitoring serverless functions in production requires observability beyond CloudWatch logs and metrics.
