This article describes how SIGNL4 can be generally authorized as an enterprise app for Azure AD users (Marketplace Link). This is important if you want to implement the use of SIGNL4 in your company with existing user accounts from the Azure AD.
Microsoft Active Directory is a key component of the IT infrastructure of any organization that uses Microsoft Windows servers or desktops. Microsoft Windows Azure Active Directory (Azure AD or AAD) is a cloud service that provides administrators with the ability to manage end-user identities and access privileges. When you use Office 365, Microsoft Azure, or Intune you are indirectly interacting with AAD which they use to manage all of their identities, authentication and permissions.
During our deployments we come across all kinds of different organizational infrastructures. Importing users from the Active Directory is a key component to populating user information into Enterprise Alert. Enterprise Alert will only import users that are contained in security groups. However, we often see companies having users placed in distribution lists. Enterprise Alert will not import distribution lists.
