SANTA BARBARA, Calif., June 30, 2021 – LogicMonitor, the leading cloud-based infrastructure monitoring and observability platform for enterprises and managed service providers, today announced it has acquired Dexda, a big data and machine learning predictive fault identification company.

We’re extremely excited to announce we’ve agreed to acquire Vdoo, a leading, Israeli-based product security company with its roots in binaries and IoT/devices. Vdoo’s team and entire technology portfolio will be incorporated into JFrog, delivering a solution that truly unifies development and security teams with a holistic security approach.

There was a big announcement this year at GrafanaCon 2021 that performance testing tool k6 is being aquired by Grafana Labs. It was really exciting news for folks who cheer for open source because these are two giant projects. At time of this writing, k6 has over 12K stars and Grafana with a respectable 42K stars on Github as well. In full transparency, I have used both of those repos many times over the years and am a fellow stargazer.

Since 2010, it has been Sumo Logic’s mission to democratize machine data. Naturally, we tend to focus on the outcomes: reliable and secure applications and systems that are the engines of successful modern businesses. But to drive these outcomes, and before the spotlight-hogging analytics kick in, algorithms require data. And this is where the magic starts! Sensu has been working on championing a monitoring as code approach to building observability pipelines for a decade now.

I am excited to announce that Sensu has entered into an agreement to be acquired by Sumo Logic (Nasdaq: SUMO), the pioneer in continuous intelligence. The acquisition will complement Sensu’s observability strategy by providing customers with a mature and comprehensive Observability Suite including log management, observability data platform, analytics, visualizations, and more.

I’m pleased to announce that Sumo Logic has finalized its acquisition of DFLabs S.p.A., a provider of security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR) software.

We are proud to announce that CircleCI has acquired Vamp, the first cloud-native release orchestration platform. This paves the way for CircleCI customers to have first-class release orchestration and continuous validation, all natively within the CircleCI platform.

Mergers and acquisitions are going on all over the market at the moment … and de-mergers as well, actually. Typically in a merger or acquisition, there’s some knowledge that it’s going to happen in advance. But until the Heads of Terms have been signed and there’s a Transition Service Agreement in place, people don’t really get moving with the activity needed to support the move, particularly on the technology side.
