Turbocharge your API and microservice delivery on MicroK8s with Microcks

In the fast-paced world of software development, the ability to deliver and iterate quickly on APIs and microservices is essential. Traditional testing methods can be time-consuming and often slow down development cycles. That is where API and service mocking tools like Microcks can come to the rescue. Microcks shipped as a new community add-on for the recent MicroK8s 1.28 release. Microcks is a Cloud Native Computing Sandbox project dedicated to API mocking and testing tools on Kubernetes.

PX5 Announces Tracealyzer Support for PX5 RTOS

A little more than a month ago, we released the free Tracealyzer SDK – a toolkit that allows other embedded software vendors to integrate Tracealyzer recording in their own software. At that time, the development team at PX5 in California were already hard at work combining Tracealyzer with their PX5 RTOS, and yesterday they released the integration. Built with Percepio’s SDK, in a just a few weeks.

Counting Crashes to Improve Device Reliability

The first step to making reliable IoT devices is understanding that they are inherently unreliable. They will never work 100% of the time. This is partially because we firmware engineers will never write perfect code. Even if we did, our devices need to operate through various networks and gateways, such as cellular modems, mobile phone Bluetooth applications, Wi-Fi routers, cloud backends, and more, and each of these may introduce unreliability.

Trusted open source for everyone

Since 2004, Canonical has worked closely with the open source community to deliver Ubuntu, the most popular OS in the public cloud, known for its reliability and ease of use. Today, Canonical extends the principles behind Ubuntu to a wider portfolio of open source products. Our footprint spans from the smallest devices to the largest clouds and from the kernel to data fabric and AI solutions. With customers that include top tech brands, emerging startups, governments and home users, Canonical delivers trusted open source for everyone.

As APIs grow in strategic importance to banks, focus turns to modern API monitoring tools

Banks are putting a fresh set of eyes on how they are using APIs to drive better business outcomes and deliver more value to their customers. This is a relatively new departure toward adopting digital transformation of key operations. Financial organizations are traditionally known for favoring conservative business models that often resist modernizing complex legacy systems or rapid change in product and service offerings. This has been changing rapidly as APIs become more prevalent.

Quantifying the value of AI-powered observability

Organizations saw a 243% ROI and $1.2 million in savings over three years In today’s complex and distributed IT environments, traditional monitoring falls short. Legacy tools often provide limited visibility across an organization’s tech stack and often at a high cost, resulting in selective monitoring. Many companies are therefore realizing the need for true, affordable end-to-end observability, which eliminates blind spots and improves visibility across their ecosystem.
