Squadcast is an incident management platform that integrates with major monitoring, ChatOps and project management tools to provide a centralized place for reliability.

We’re excited to announce that Upsun now offers OpenSearch as a service available and included on all plans. OpenSearch is a distributed RESTful search and analytics engine you can use for log analytics, a search backend, clickstream analytics, and more. With the recent move by ElasticSearch to switch to a licensing model, it was important for us to propose a strong open source alternative. And OpenSearch is completely open source, so you could run and manage it on your own.

One year ago we launched what would become our most popular feature yet: a page you could publish with your name and logo that aggregated the status of all of your cloud vendors. We called it a “public dashboard” because it did not require a StatusGator account to view, and it published your StatusGator dashboard for your entire team. We’ve now renamed this feature a “status page” and made it even more accessible inside of StatusGator. Why the change? Read on.

We are happy to announce that Bitbucket Pipelines now supports MacOS self-hosted runners. This is currently in beta. You can now create a self-hosted runner and run it on your MacOS infrastructure to run MacOS and IOS builds. Since you’re using your own runner, you won't be charged for Bitbucket Pipelines build minutes. This self-hosted runner will be non-containerised allowing your CI/CD step to access the host's hardware, such as the graphics card or any connected external devices.

Today I am very excited to announce a major new version of Cloud 66 Prepress, our No Ops tool for deploying static sites. Last year we released Prepress to help our customers deploy static sites to AWS S3. With support for Jekyll, Hugo, and Gatsby, Prepress is everything you need to deploy your static site to your account on all major cloud providers. Today, we are taking Prepress to a whole new level.

Today we’re introducing you to Grafana Mimir, the most scalable, most performant open source time series database in the world. Mimir allows you to scale to 1 billion metrics and beyond, with simplified deployment, high availability, multi-tenancy, durable storage, and blazing fast query performance that is up to 40x faster than Cortex.
