Announcing CFEngine Build

Earlier this year, we hinted at what we were working on - a place for users to find and share reusable modules for CFEngine. Today, the CFEngine team is pleased to announce the launch of CFEngine Build: The new website, build.cfengine.com, allows you to browse for modules, and gives you information about how to use each one of them. When you’ve found the module you were looking for, it can be downloaded and built using the command line tooling.

Next-gen database cloning deploying soon

Building on the success of SQL Clone in delivering copies of SQL Server databases at speed, we’re bringing cloning to Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL. As we launch an early access program, we would like to invite you to gain first access to our newest database cloning technology and input into our roadmap. Adding support for other RDBMS is a big deal as we look to extend our market-leading Database DevOps solutions to more teams, but that’s not the only major feature.

Now that multiple companies have created “tags” that you can add to anything from keys to cars and packages, anything can be tracked. Across the business, industry, and retail almost every physical component has the option of being internet-connected.
