Device Groups in Dashboards
Utilizing device groups inside of dashboards is extremely powerful and will allow you to present all the information collected by Service Watch for whatever you are trying to accomplish. Whether you are looking to benchmark the devices of your remote workforce or figure out which office is performing better or worse after changes, you’ll find it extremely easy to visualize this information.
The out-of-box dashboards that are generated upon deploying Service Watch provide you with per device, grouped device, ISP, and network performance information. These are great when initially starting off but once you have invested time in building your own groups and have a significant number of devices deployed, you may want to present the information in ways that align more with your day-to-day or even create shared dashboards for your Help Desk and NOC teams or for Application Owners.
