The CloudApp community is very excited to announce our new integration with Mattermost, helping to create a better communication experience for teams, enterprises and individuals. Mattermost centralizes communication with an easy-to-navigate enterprise messaging workspace that offers security, scalability and open source flexibility. CloudApp helps to enhance that messaging experience with the use of visual media like GIFs, screenshots and recordings.

We just shipped our March 2018 update and Mattermost users and admins alike have a lot to be excited about: Mattermost now offers enhanced compatibility with Amazon CloudFront, a content delivery network that helps accelerate load times for static assets, improving the user experience, E20 admins can now easily migrate users to SAML single sign-on via a CLI command, increasing security with access controls that ensure only authorized users can access critical data.

We’ve just released our February 2018 update and there’s a lot of exciting news to share! Mattermost 4.7 includes enhanced image previews and thumbnails that make it easier to see what’s in the images your colleagues share. We’ve also added several performance improvements. You’ll notice pages and images are loading even faster thanks to image proxy support. It’s also easier to find channels due to optimized autocomplete queries.

Mattermost 4.6 includes several web app performance improvements, including channels that switch faster than ever before. Plus faster loading of images, thanks to higher compression, and less memory used to manage channels, thanks to optimizations.

Janna Brummel and Robin van Zijll, from ING Netherlands, talked at the Velocity conference in London about how poor availability from their internet banking systems prompted the bank to implement an SRE culture. A centralized SRE team was set up in the Netherlands to provide tooling, consulting and education on reliability to product teams (known as BizDevOps squads internally).
