In 2021, we announced the release of the Datadog Lambda extension, a simplified, cost-effective way for customers to collect monitoring data from their AWS Lambda functions. This extension was a specialized build of our main Datadog Agent designed to monitor Lambda executions.

As we kick off the AWS re:Invent 2024 conference, we’re thrilled to introduce two major developer observability and live debugging advancements that bring even greater power and flexibility to developers and engineering teams everywhere. These new product capabilities — the Lightrun Visual Studio Extension and Lightrun Dynamic Traces — are designed to elevate customers’ observability workflows and streamline their development processes directly within their IDE.

2024 has been a momentous year for ScienceLogic. In May, we launched our vision of Autonomic IT, which combines data, AI, and automation to create a fully autonomous state of IT operations. We followed that up in July with the introduction of Skylar AI, a suite of services that empower organizations to automate ITOps processes, reach AIOps maturity, and make more accurate and data-driven decisions. A lot of hard work went into the creation of these solutions.

HAProxy ALOHA 16.5 is now available, and we’re delighted to share that this release includes one of the cornerstone security features announced earlier this year—the new Bot Management Module. HAProxy ALOHA customers will also benefit from the new Network Management CLI, secure Wireguard VPN synchronization between appliances, updated root filesystem packages, and the features announced in open source HAProxy 3.0.

Back in the spotlight, HAProxy 3.1 builds on its history of innovation, delivering improvements that ensure it remains the go-to open source load balancer! As usual, all the features announced in this release will be incorporated into the next enterprise release (HAProxy Enterprise 3.1). HAProxy 3.1 brings improvements to observability, reliability, performance, and flexibility. So everything we love about HAProxy is now even better!
