xMatters Zaxxon Release
Incident management can sometimes feel like piloting a spaceship through enemy fortresses while trying to hit as many targets as possible without, you know... game over. But, even if your response processes don't quite involve pixelated robots and laser beams like in the video game, Zaxxon, our latest release is here to make sure your feet stay firmly on the ground whatever incidents may appear in your stratosphere! Let’s take a look...
Responding to incidents is all about efficiency, and when time is tight, every second counts. To help quickly summarize detailed messages or translate information into another language or any one of countless other tasks, you can now integrate AI into your flows with our OpenAI: Chat Completions step.
When everyone’s on the same page everything works better. Now, you no longer need to keep refreshing status pages to stay on top of things. Instead, you can simply subscribe to specific status pages to receive notifications to your configured devices when incidents on the page are updated.
Continuing with our enhancements to the user schedule, we’ve added new functionality to make information clearer when reviewing your on-call shifts. Now, you can view your schedule and any absences in a more detailed day, week, month, or list view.
We all know that when it comes to incident management, communication is critical. To ensure your stakeholders stay better informed during an incident, you can now fully customize stakeholder updates, such as using specific branding or message formats, through Flow Designer.
These features are now available in xMatters instances. If you’d like to learn more about everything that’s included in Zaxxon, our Release Overview has everything you need to know.
