Conquering the Chaos: Rescuing a Messy IT Environment

When people get promoted to IT leadership, it comes with a lot of perks, including (hopefully) better pay and more career advancement. Unfortunately, often times, it also comes with an additional workload from the disorganized and chaotic environment you've inherited. After demonstrating great skill at an individual contributor level, you're now given the reins to the entire department, often in an organization that had no IT leadership to begin with.

This could mean incomplete documentation, outdated hardware, no visibility on all of the hardware on your network, and so much more. In this stream, we'll talk to some IT leaders that have been through it all and can give you advice on how to tackle the mess bit-by-bit!
