This month, we’ve added more control over Website and Ping alerts, expanded audit logs, and new ways to get outage reports through the API and webhooks. There’s also an Intercom AI connection to help with customer outage questions, and we’ve passed 12,000 monitored services! Here’s a closer look at what’s new.

StatusGator’s audit logs now track more of your team’s activity, including changes to monitors, incidents, scheduled maintenance, status pages, and integrations. Previously, audit logs focused on sign-ins and account security. With this update, organization admins can also see who changed a monitor’s component filters, rescheduled maintenance, resolved an incident, or updated a status page’s password.

StatusGator webhooks now support user outage reports, so you can send reports from your status page to your own tools as soon as they’re confirmed. We’ve also added event settings to each webhook, letting you choose which notifications an endpoint receives. Use outage reports to create support tickets, alert your on-call team, or collect reports for analysis. Each payload includes the affected service, selected components, the reporter’s comment, and their approximate location.

Is something down?” When customers report a problem, your support team needs to understand whether it’s related to your product or a provider you depend on. Your AI support agent needs that context, too. By connecting StatusGator to Intercom through MCP, you can give Fin access to live status data and help it provide more useful answers during support conversations.

October 2026 brought a steady run of disruptions across cloud infrastructure, e-commerce platforms, education tools, developer services, and AI products. Once again, StatusGator’s Early Warning Signals often surfaced these incidents before providers posted official updates.

Shopify merchants hit 504 Gateway Timeout errors on October 28, 2026, in a brief outage that Shopify never publicly acknowledged. For about 24 minutes, the Shopify admin and pages failed to load with “server not responding” and 504 errors for users across several countries. StatusGator detected the outage at 15:27 UTC, one minute after the first user report, even though it never appeared on Shopify’s status page.

A power event in Google’s europe-west2-b (London) zone triggered a wide Google Cloud outage on October 20, 2026, taking down dozens of services including Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Compute Engine, and Kubernetes for customers across the UK and beyond. StatusGator sent an Early Warning Signal at 07:02 UTC, 1 hour and 35 minutes before Google Cloud publicly acknowledged the incident at 08:37 UTC. The ripple effect was wide: StatusGator tracked 171 other services showing signs of impact during the outage.

You can now choose which status changes trigger alerts for Website and Ping monitors, bringing the same notification control previously available only for Service monitors. Keep recovery notifications on, focus on downtime, or include SSL warnings for your websites. Adjust each monitor to receive the alerts that matter to you.

You can now retrieve outage reports submitted through your StatusGator status page using our API. Bring user feedback into your internal dashboards, reporting tools, and incident workflows.
