Smarter Visualization Suggestions in Grafana 13

Grafana 13 upgrades visualization suggestions — now the default way to pick a panel type — with grouped options and full previews that help you find the right visualization faster.

Instead of choosing a panel type upfront and adjusting from there, Grafana 13 flips the workflow: start with your data, and Grafana recommends the best visualizations for it. Suggestions are now grouped so you can scan and compare options at a glance, and each one includes a full preview so you can see exactly what your data looks like before committing. The result is a faster, more guided panel creation experience with less trial and error.
