Claiming is a security feature that proves you have administrative privileges to a given node, ensuring only you or your team can monitor your infrastructure using Netdata Cloud.

To claim a node, you need a claiming script, and a node running the Netdata Agent. If you don't have the Agent installed yet, see our video on the one-line installation script: https://www.youtube.com/watch

Once you claim your node, you'll start seeing its real-time metrics streamed to your browser via Netdata Cloud's proxy. You can now view the full dashboard, create new dashboards using its charts, do root cause analysis using Metric Correlations, and more.
