Bindplane is introducing Fleets — a brand-new way to organize, manage, and operate large groups of OpenTelemetry Collectors at scale. In this video, Ryan walks through how Fleets simplify the way you group agents, roll out configuration changes, monitor health, and keep your entire collector fleet up to date. 

You’ll see how Fleets give you clearer visibility into agent groups (like offices, regions, or workloads), help you understand configuration state, and show aggregated telemetry volume across each fleet. Ryan also demonstrates how easy it is to upgrade out-of-date collectors in bulk — right inside the Fleet view. 

Fleets are also the foundation for upcoming capabilities like layered configurations, where you’ll be able to apply multiple configs (base + workload-specific) to a single collector without duplication. Ryan shares why this has been one of the most requested features and how Fleets unlock what’s coming next.
