How to Keep Seedance 2.5 Prompts, Files and Feedback Organized

A Seedance 2.5 project becomes difficult to manage when nobody can identify the prompt, references or approval behind a generated clip. Good asset organization solves this with a shared structure, a predictable folder tree and file names that explain what each item is.
For work created with the Seedance 2.5 video generator, organization should live in the team's own storage and project records. Keep the folder tree and manifest in external storage so the record travels with the exported files. The goal is a workflow that remains understandable when files move between a strategist, operator, editor and client.
Use one project root
Create a root folder with a stable project code and plain-language name. Inside it, separate the brief, approved references, prompts, generated outputs, edits, review notes and final deliveries.

Keep rejected or superseded material out of the approved reference folder. If it must be retained, place it in a clearly marked archive so it cannot be selected by mistake.
Give every file a useful name
A practical pattern is `project_scene_asset_version_status.ext`. For example, `CAM024_S02_product-front_v03_approved.jpg` describes the project, scene, role, version and state.
Use fixed terms for status, such as `draft`, `review`, `approved` and `retired`. Avoid “final,” “final2” and “final-really.” Dates can help with deliveries, but they should not replace version numbers when several revisions happen on the same day.
Connect prompts to outputs
Save the full prompt used for each generation in a text document or structured log. The matching scene and version identifiers connect the files without requiring the recipient to reconstruct the history.
Where privacy matters, remove unnecessary metadata and personal information before handoff. Keep licensed material with enough source information for the next person to verify its permitted use.
Prepare a handoff that can be checked
Before transferring the project, confirm that the recipient has:
- The current brief and approved message.
- The approved reference set and manifest.
- The full prompt and selected generation settings for each candidate.
- Clearly named source outputs and edit files.
- Timecoded feedback with open decisions identified.
- The required aspect ratio, resolution, captions, audio and delivery format.
- A record of the approved version and approver.
Open a representative file from every folder before handoff. Broken paths, missing fonts, offline media and restricted links are easier to fix while the original operator still has access.
Archive decisions, not clutter
Retain what explains the final result: approved references, prompt versions that reached review, selected outputs, feedback and delivery files. Remove disposable previews when policy allows. The archive should help someone reconstruct the decision path without preserving every accidental duplicate.
