EZ Release Weekly - October 16, 2026 #devops #platformengineering #infrastructureascode
env zero now connects to Azure DevOps through Microsoft Entra ID, Pulumi runs take your own CLI flags, and Terraform Cloud migrations got smoother. Here's what shipped this week.
In this episode:
- Azure DevOps + Microsoft Entra ID: new connections use it by default. Got an existing one? Go to Organization Settings, then VCS, open any connection with an exclamation mark, pick Entra ID and sign in. Templates, environments and webhooks come with you. Microsoft is retiring the old OAuth apps this year, so switch now.
- Custom Pulumi CLI flags for preview, up and destroy, one environment variable per command (self-hosted agent v5.5.7)
- Connect your GitLab.com or Azure DevOps account directly, no more pasting user IDs. Admins can limit PR comment commands to connected accounts.
- Sort and filter the Projects page by drifted and active environments
- Sub-projects in the sidebar tree
- Export managed, unmanaged or all resources from one dropdown
- Pretty Plan hides move-only and import-only changes, so a refactor reads like a refactor
- Terraform Cloud migration: a batch of fixes to the Review step
- Self-hosted agent: secret-named fields are masked before they reach your monitoring tools
- Terratag 0.8.0 tags OpenTofu.tofu files
