Description:
WeWeb.io is a web application builder that enables the development and deployment of interactive sites, without the need to write code. You can import existing front-end components, connect or create databases, and deploy on hyperscale infrastructure all from their web interface. The company got started as a YCombinator graduate, and have quickly developed the product, proven their market, and begun to scale.

There was just one problem. The customers needed something else, something different, something that WeWeb hadn't initially planned for.

At that point, most startups would have died. The money would run out, and everyone goes home. Not WeWeb. They listened to their customers. They heard the message, and they pivoted, changing strategic direction and adding just the right features to meet the needs that had emerged.

On this episode of #DeployFriday, we talk to the founders of WeWeb.io about that journey, and how they shut down the v1 of their product to focus on v2, and in doing so solved a market need and made the product stronger.
