Platform.sh Welcomes Two New C-Level Executives; Chief Financial Officer, Caroline Bec Cox, and Chief People Officer, Caroline Leroy

Paris/San Francisco, 9th November 2023 - Platform.sh, a unified, secure, enterprise-grade platform for building, running and scaling web applications, today announced two C-level appointments: Caroline Bec Cox as Chief Financial Officer and Caroline Leroy as Chief People Officer.

Caroline Bec Cox has a background in science and finance, including an investment banking boutique, RBC Capital Markets and CFO at cleantech startup, Omnidian. As CFO, Bec Cox will ensure Platform.sh remains on a sound financial footing and grows in a sustainable manner following the business's successful Series D funding round.

Caroline Bec Cox. CFO, Platform.sh: "I'm delighted to join a business with innovation and environmental sustainability at its core. Environmental sustainability is something close to my heart so I'm excited to work with a business that's not only concerned with reducing its own carbon emissions but also helping its customers reduce theirs. It's a very exciting time to be at Platform.sh, and my role will be supporting the team to ensure continued growth"

Caroline Leroy brings extensive experience in HR and CPO roles in financial services, retail technology and healthcare, including Mastercard and PayFit. As Chief People Officer her role will be to keep enhancing the strong culture of Platform.sh, ensuring that its values are lived out across the entire business.

Caroline Leroy, CPO, Platform.sh: "Platform.sh has always been an entirely remote business, which comes with its own opportunities and challenges—but our experience means we're ahead of others who are just getting to grips with this new way of working. I'm very happy to join a business that already embodies many of the values a successful business needs: genuine, diverse and collaborative. I aim to cement these values at all levels of the business and ensure the company's innovation continues to be underpinned by high morale."

Fred Plais, Co-Founder & CEO, Platform.sh: "A new chapter for Platform.sh means we need the right team in place to support our people and plans, and we're very happy to welcome both Carolines to their roles. Their experience and knowledge will be incredibly valuable as we prepare for the next phase of growth."
