Two months in one! We’re wrapping things up for the year, but wanted to give you all an update on all the great things we’ve shipped in the closing of 2019.

There are scenarios where we want to de-couple logic across multiple logic apps. Generally, this is a straight forward endeavor, unless the downstream logic app has a long-running process. When this does occur, the client (or publisher) will experience an HTTP timeout if the request takes more than 2 minutes. This scenario is captured within the Azure Logic Apps documentation.

If you’ve visited the SolarWinds® Papertrail™ event viewer this week, you may have noticed it’s roomier. There’s less scrolling needed and more of the log line appears on the screen. You may be wondering what changed. Based on suggestions from user feedback, we streamlined the navigation and tucked it into the top bar. This change lets the logs message fill the entire screen width and lets you see more of the log message, with less scrolling.

Using percentages when performing data analytics is an essential approach to effective numeric comparison, especially when the data in question demonstrates drastically different sample sizes or totals. Percentages allow for a quick and accurate understanding of how much data sums have changed across a dimensional category like a range of time, geographic regions, product lines, etc.

My 2nd Gartner IOCS experience ended with a bang, just like my first one, with an amazing presentation by Jason Walker at Blizzard Entertainment (part of the $42B Activision-Blizzard gaming powerhouse) on how they use AIOps to deliver an amazing gaming experience for hundreds of millions of gamers around the world, 24×7. But before I get to that, let me share some more key takeaways from the conference.

Gartner Research provides insight into the healthcare industry, recommending robust clinical communication and collaboration (CC&C) solutions or technologies. OnPage is mentioned in Gartner’s latest CC&C guide, recognizing the organization for its digital scheduler, audit trails, automated alerts and live call routing capabilities. At its core, Gartner recommends OnPage to organizations looking to streamline clinical workflows and enhance team communications.

The difference between machine learning for business and machine learning for consumers is that for business applications, you must deal with requirements that casual users won’t encounter.
