On August 17, Gartner placed BigPanda in the Niche Players quadrant of the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for AI Applications in IT Service Management (ITSM). It’s our first time on this MQ, after an honorable mention last year. I’m glad we’re there, and I want to explain why a company that doesn’t sell an ITSM platform reads that as a strong result.

We're excited to share that Honeycomb has achieved yet another Amazon Web Services (AWS) Competency—the Resilience Technology Competency—which recognizes our ability to help customers detect, investigate, and recover from failures in production systems running on AWS. While receiving the competency designation is a fantastic recognition of the capabilities of the Honeycomb platform (we also received one in Financial Services earlier this year), it's ultimately not the point.

G2's Fall 2026 Grid Report for Database Monitoring is out, and Redgate Monitor is named a Leader. G2 builds its reports from verified user reviews rather than paid placement, so this recognition comes from the people who use Redgate Monitor every day, and took time out of their lives to tell others what it's like. A reference architecture is a set of design decisions made explicit, and the interesting parts are usually the consequences the authors chose to name. Data center, campus, WAN, cloud, and edge each run on their own platforms, often from different vendors, and the architecture takes that fragmentation as its starting point rather than a problem to wish away.
