What's new and coming in Redgate Monitor: AI, CIS compliance and cloud migration

This webinar covers what's new and coming in Redgate Monitor: AI with Redgate Assistant and the Redgate Monitor MCP server, CIS benchmark compliance checks and security alerting (Enterprise), AWS cloud migration advice for SQL Server workloads, and the roadmap into 2027.

Redgate Monitor has shipped a lot this year, and there's more landing before the end of it. This session walks through what's new, what's coming over the next few months and into 2027, and what it all means for how you run your estate. Roadmap items are current direction, not commitments.

Hosted by Tim Dalton, Group Product Manager for Redgate Monitor, and Laura Copeland, Solution Engineer at Redgate, with live demos and Q&A throughout.

What this session covers:

Put AI to work on your own estate. Ask a question about your estate's health in plain language and get an answer, without building a dashboard or writing a query first. That's Redgate Assistant, and the Redgate Monitor MCP server does the same for the AI tools your team already uses, such as Claude Code, VS Code Copilot and Cursor. Redgate Assistant is in public preview and off by default, so you choose whether to turn it on. The MCP server is generally available for self-hosted Redgate Monitor and is read-only. The session also demos AI alert analysis and AI query analysis. AI analysis works from data in the Monitor repository, not by querying your production databases. For details on how Redgate handles data, see the Redgate AI Trust Center: https://ai.redgate.cloud/hub/trust

Prove your estate is under control, and know the moment it isn't (Enterprise). When an auditor or your own security team asks for evidence, it's already there. Certified CIS benchmark templates run configuration checks continuously and suggest fixes. Brute-force login alerting means you learn about an attack while it's under way, and the new security read-only user role and upgraded Data API get that evidence to the teams who need it.

See what moving a workload to the cloud would actually involve. Migration planning usually starts with guesswork about targets and cost. Monitor uses the data it already holds to suggest AWS targets, surface the blockers, and estimate what moving a SQL Server workload would cost. This is a preview, starting with Amazon RDS.

The roadmap. What's landing next, and what to expect in 2027.
