How to Turn Off GitKraken AI (GitKraken Desktop and Organization-Wide)
Let's talk about 2 ways to turn off GitKraken AI: for your own account in GitKraken Desktop, and for everyone in your organization from gitkraken.dev.
Turn off GitKraken AI for your account (GitKraken Desktop)
- Click the gear icon in the top right corner to open Preferences.
- Select GitKraken AI in the left panel.
- Uncheck Enable GitKraken AI. You'll see "AI features disabled. You can re-enable anytime."
Turn off GitKraken AI for your organization (admins and owners)
- Go to gitkraken.dev.
- In the left panel, open Settings, then Security controls.
- Turn off the AI features toggle.
- Click Disable to confirm. AI features are then off for everyone in your organization.
Optional: limit AI providers
On the same Security controls page, under Enforce AI providers, turn off any provider you don't want your organization to use.
The organization setting overrides the GitKraken AI setting each person chooses in their own GitKraken Desktop client.
