Our latest release just went live and it represents a big step for our customers toward building workflows that integrate services and provide an orchestration layer for web applications. We've made it easier to use Zenaton workflows to integrate with both SAAS services and internal web applications - regardless of the programming language. And, it is no longer required to install an agent or SDK within an applications to launch or interact with workflows - like sending events.

Cron Jobs are one of the basic building blocks of modern software. They are frequently one of the first tasks that we run outside of our software and an easy go-to when we need a to run a script or quickly put something into production. And, frequently we use crons as part of larger processes like checking on an API/database regularly to see if information has changed so that we can do something else with it.

At Zenaton, our ambition is to offer a powerful workflow engine that is also easy to implement so that tech teams can spend more time writing code and business logic and less time maintaining infrastructure. To that end, we know that when implementing a new tool or service, it’s important to be up and running as fast as possible.

Let’s build a “Grocery delivery service” where a customer orders their groceries online and schedules a delivery time. Then a grocery store team member uses an app to collect the grocery items and then a courier service delivers them to the customer. We will build this product with our business logic and combine several SaaS services to save us time.
