Today we have launched v2 of our Google Sheets integration! First up, the bad news, at the moment we’ve had to remove the ability to add / remove URLs using the spreadsheet. features like rules, projects and notification settings mean that adding a URL is a little bit more complicated (but much more powerful) and we’ve yet to translate that fully to a spreadsheet (but we are working on it) The good news is that the spreadsheet now contains three tabs

You know when you decide to update the marketing site design and assign two months to do it then a year and a half later you have a brand new backend design, a new marketing site and a completely rebuilt backend but during this process you didn’t blog or really update twitter so nobody knows anything..

Oh Hey, it’s been while since I posted on here, I’m sorry and I’ll get more into why later but we have some exciting news, Little Warden has had a redesign! It has taken MONTHS to get to this point because we didn’t just want to give it a new template and be done, we wanted to make it easier to use and quicker to see what you need, lets go through SOME of the things that make us proud about Little Warden v3.

Two new features in TWO DAYS.. what is this new year NEW ME? When we launched custom content extraction in 2017, I was always a bit annoyed by the ‘pain in the arse’ it was to use, sure it was an excellent feature but we made the user load up a tab and copy the xPath manually. Since that launch we’ve had ‘make content extraction less shi of a pain to do’ but as things tend to do, other features and improvements got in the way. BUT NOT TODAY… BOOM!

As we enter week 3 of Lockdown Number 3 in the UK I wanted to give you a bit of an update as to how we are dealing with it and still working on new updates at Little Warden! Due to the schools closing, we’ve had to open the Hodgson Family Academy once more and lessons run throughout the weekday. It’s a job share with two teachers Mum and Dad and some substitute teachers of Cosmic Kids Yoga, Muzzy and the wonderful team at BBC Bitesize.

Whenever you launch a startup with a small team you have to make feature sacrifices, things that you can ‘build in later’ and when building Little Warden, Teams / Additional users was one of them. Last year during the global pandemic (remember that, I’m glad that’s over and done with) we decided to implement them but it turns out, that’s a lot harder than you think!
