Ridiculously simple Internet of Things tools and solutions:

  • Freeboard: Ridiculously simple dashboards for your devices. A damn-sexy, open source real-time dashboard builder for IOT and other web mashups. A free open-source alternative to Geckoboard.
  • dweet.io: Ridiculously simple messaging (and alerts) for the Internet of Things. Fast, free and ridiculously simple— it's like Twitter for social machines.

Bug Labs. Open APIs. Open source. The only way to build M2M/IoT applications that last.

In this example we use a dweet datasource, coming from a device with a button. When we press the button, the Indicator Light will turn on. This widget is useful as a conditional alert, to show when a door opens, or device is off.
